Uttar Pradesh CM To Transfer RS 2409 Cr As Second & Third Installments Of PMAY- Urban To Over 3.42 lakh Beneficiaries

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will transfer 2409 crore rupees as second and third installments of PM Awas Yojana – Urban to over 3.42 lakh beneficiaries of the state, today. The Chief Minister will connect live from Gorakhpur to the beneficiaries of the scheme from all over the state. He will interact virtually with five beneficiaries in five districts of the state. AIR correspondent reports that the Chief Minister will also visit the Chauri Chaura martyrium to oversee the preparations for the centenary celebration of the historical event that took place in 1922. State is gearing up for a grand celebration on the completion of 100 years of Chauri Chaura incident. The state-wide celebration will begin from 4th of next month and will go on for a year. Various competitions like essay writing, debates and painting will be organised in all districts of Uttar Pradesh beginning from the first week of the next month. Book fairs and exhibitions will also be organised. The logo of the Chauri Chaura Centenary Celebration was jointly inaugurated by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow last week during the first meet of the organizing committee of the event.
