TMC Leader Rajib Banerjee Resigned As MLA After Quitting Mamata’s Cabinet

Ex-Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Rajib Banerjee, resigned from the post of MLA. He represented the Domjur assembly constituency of West Bengal.

Banerjee recently quitted from the Mamata Banerjee’s government’s cabinet. He submitted his resignation to Speaker Biman Banerjee.

According to reliable sources, he is about to quit the party and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He informed about his resignation through social media. He wrote, It is with my sincere gratitude that I am resigning as Member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly.

He thanked the people of his constituency for showing confidenceon on him. He promised to work for betterment of Bengal. Serving for the people of West Bengal has been my life’s greatest achievement, he wrote further in his social media post.

He resigned as a minister on January 22.

He attacked his own party and said, there were some people in party who were obstacles in my work for welfare of people and grassroots workers.

He said, I believe in giving respect to grassroots workers who selflessly toil for the organisation.

Banerjee heard saying in a video, there are some leaders who treat party workers as servants and using them for their benifit.
