Rajiv’s last visit was taken out in the evening. Photographer Viral Bayani shared pictures of the last trip on Instagram, in which Ranbir Kapoor and Armaan Jain can be seen shoulder their uncle. According to reports, Rajiv was cremated by his elder brother Randhir Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor passed away in April last year.
The news of Rajiv’s death was shared by Neetu Kapoor from his Instagram account. Randhir Kapoor told the Times of India that Rajiv died of a heart attack. Took him to the hospital Doctors tried hard, but could not save. Rajiv’s body was brought home by ambulance.
Rajiv Kapoor was the youngest son of Raj Kapoor. He made his debut with the film Ek Jaan Hain Hum in 1983, but he got a big recognition from his 1985 film Ram Teri Ganga Maili, which was produced and directed by Raj Kapoor. Mandakini also started her acting innings with Ram Teri Ganga Maili.
