A case of acid attack on a person has come to light in Shivapuram locality of the city. The person alleged that he was going to his advocate. At the same time, some people attacked him with acid. The 55-year-old officer, resident of Mohalla Shahbazpur of Sadar Kotwali area, was going to his advocate at Shivapuram locality on Thursday morning. According to the officer, he left the women’s hospital and reached the turning point in the locality. At the same time, the three men who came in chase attacked him with acid and he ran back. During this time the officer did not inform the police. He first reached his home and reached Kotwali with the family. He then told the police that his son Arshad was married to a girl resident of Jalandhari Sarai. Some time ago the in-laws tried to kill his son by poisoning him. He has filed a report in this matter. Its trial is going on in court. Here, it is also being revealed that the in-laws of the son have accused the officer and his family of dowry harassment. On arrival of this, police reached Shivapuram Mohalla and questioned the people. People in the vicinity of the place where the incident is being reported have denied any such incident of throwing acid.
