On this matter, Mohammad Tanjil Khan of Daroga of Special Branch said that an FIR has been lodged in the Cyber Police Station of Ranchi in this regard. Investigation on this is also going on. However, after receiving a message on the threat to CM Hemant Soren, Daroga Tanzeel Khan said that the official confirmation of the case has not been done yet. Earlier too, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was threatened with death. Through an e-mail, CM Hemant Soren and his entire family were threatened with death. IG cum police spokesman Suman Gupta had given information in this regard.
On July 8 too, two emails were threatened with the murder of CM Hemant Soren and his family, on which an FIR was lodged in the cyber police station on July 13. The most shocking facts in this threat came when the initial investigation revealed that the threats were made through Proton Mail and broken emails, whose servers are from Germany and Switzerland.
