Freezing Cold, The River Froze In Ladakh, Tourists Are Enjoying The Chaddar trekking

These days North India is experiencing a severe winter and heavy snowfall is occurring in the mountainous regions. Junkar, a river flowing in the union territory of Ladakh, has froze. Thousands of tourists are reaching here to see the river and trekking on the snow. In the Union Territory of Ladakh, people are trekking on the frozen Jamskar River in Chaling village. These days people are enjoying it a lot in Ladakh. Nighttime temperatures in this region fall from minus 25 to minus 35 degrees. The Zanskar River freezes in the winter months, the entire river looks like a sheet of snow and hence it is also called sheet tracking.
