DPCC Has Made Amendment To Fine People Upto 1 Lakhs For People Violating Noise Pollution Norms

DPCC has revised the penalty for violating noise pollution norms in the city due to lot of pressure by noise pollution. Under the new guidelines DPCC can fine individuals up to ₹1 lakh for causing noise pollution, with a fine of up to ₹10,000 for noise through loudspeakers/public address systems. Apart from this, people found burning firecrackers in residential/commercial areas will be fined ₹1,000. This is done as the noise pollution has became the biggest problem for the people of the city.
