Don’t Trust Kuldeep Yadav, Net And Backup Bowler Getting Place In Playing XI

Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri and captain Virat Kohli gave the less experienced Shahbaz Nadeem a chance in the first Test match against England. Kuldeep Yadav, the team’s leading spinner and associated with the team for many years, was not given a place in the playing eleven. In the series played against Australia, he was not given a chance to play in a single match. All the stalwarts against England were talking about giving Kuldeep a chance in the first Test match. In the event of landing with three spinners, he was believed to get a chance. He was expected to be included in the playing eleven in the home series due to the team’s regular bowlers and good performances in fewer matches. The captain and coach chose backup spinner Shahbaz Nadeem, who was inducted hours earlier to replace Akshar Patel, in the final eleven. This decision was really shocking because Kuldeep also has more experience and the team needed him in the crucial match.Kuldeep, who made his debut in Dharamsala Test against Australia in 2017, has played only 6 Test matches for India so far. In a short Test career, this bowler has taken 24 wickets. Kuldeep has not been given a chance in a single match since the Sydney Test against Australia in 2019.
