Congress MPs Will Bring Private Bills To Repeal Agricultural Laws In Lok Sabha

Eight Congress MPs have decided to introduce a private bill to increase the pressure to repeal the agrarian reform laws. Private bill against agrarian reform laws will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on behalf of Congress MPs and will seek to surround the government by mobilizing support on it. Punjab MPs led by Congress MP Manish Tiwari have jointly drafted this private bill. They will also try to garner the support of MPs of other parties on this.

This private bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on behalf of MPs Praneeth Kaur, Santokh Chaudhary, Jasbir Singh Gill, Ravneet Bittu etc. along with Manish Tiwari. Also, the speaker will be requested to list this bill for early discussion. Tiwari said that they will also try to get the support of MPs of other parties opposing the injustice being done against the farmers. Not only this, the members of the upper house will be requested to bring a private bill to repeal the agricultural laws in the Rajya Sabha.
Congress has been consistently demanding for the repeal of agricultural laws. For this, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have been continuously demanding. Even Congress-ruled governments have passed a resolution in the Legislative Assembly to repeal the law. At the same time, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will now give a edge to the Kisan Panchayat in Uttar Pradesh. She will lead the Congress campaign from western Uttar Pradesh by joining four Kisan Panchayats in UP. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will hold four meetings in western Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. She will also add the farmer to the party in the anti-agriculture law movement by addressing the Kisan Panchayat. Priyanka Gandhi will join the Kisan Panchayat in Saharanpur for the first time on Wednesday. Priyanka will visit Saharanpur on Wednesday. Here she will join the Kisan Panchayat in Chilana.
